Don L. Patterson practices in bankruptcy and creditors' rights, real estate, banking, and commercial law.
He received his B.B.A. degree in 1952 from West Texas State College and, after serving a tour of active duty with the U.S. Naval Reserve, received a J.D. degree from the University of Texas in 1959.
Mr. Patterson was corporate counsel to an aircraft equipment contractor to the government before entering private practice in Amarillo in 1962.
He is licensed to practice before all Texas courts, the U.S. District Courts for both the Northern and the Western Districts of Texas, the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
