We bring over 30 years of dedicated experience to every DUI and criminal defense case we handle. Our practice is built on a foundation of unique insight, gained from serving as a former US Army Military Police Sergeant and a campus police officer. We understand law enforcement procedures from the inside, which allows us to anticipate prosecutorial strategies and identify weaknesses in the state's case. Our journey began in San Francisco, where we actively contributed to shaping California's drunk driving laws. Since then, we have fought approximately 40 jury trials and hundreds of DMV hearings across the Bay Area. We are a Founding Member of the DUI Defense Lawyers Association and a member of the National College for DUI Defense, having attended multiple summer sessions at Harvard Law School.
Our prior role as Executive Director of the CDLA was instrumental in winning the landmark case of CDLA v. DMV, which secured fairer hearing procedures for all California drivers. We hold a BA in Criminology from Fresno State University, earned Magna Cum Laude, and a JD from Golden Gate University.
