Welcome to the website for the District Attorney's office for the 39th Judicial District. As your District Attorney, I strive to provide the citizens of Red River Parish with a pro-active District Attorney's office. Therefore, this website provides information regarding the prosecution of criminal matters, which is the heart of any District Attorney's office, including court dates, but also information for Victim's services, Support Enforcement Services, and the Families in Need of Services program.
This website also provides information for businesses on our Worthless Check collection program. It is my sincere hope that this website provides information which is helpful and user-friendly to any and all persons or entities interested in the services available through the District Attorney's Office for the 39th Judicial District.
In late 2007, a formal request from the District Attorney's Office for the 26th Judicial District (Bossier and Webster Parishes) along with community collaborators was made to the Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement (LCLE) to establish a Family Justice Center that would provide centralized services to victims of Domestic Violence in Northwest Louisiana.

Project LEAD
Report
The Red River Parish District Attorney's office is pleased to introduce Project L.E.A.D. (Legal Enrichment And Decision-Making).
This new program, implemented by District Attorney Julie C.
Jones, strives to better prepare students to make the right choices by educating them on various aspects of the law and familiarizing them with the criminal justice system and how it functions.
During the eleven week course, the students in the Red River Elementary 5th grade class and the 5th and 6th grade students at Riverdale Academy work with various law enforcement agencies to better understand what role each agency plays in the criminal justice system and how all of these agencies work together.
