KBG Injury Law maintains a full-service personal injury practice with a presence in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and multiple locations throughout South Central PA. For nearly 40 years, the firm has concentrated exclusively on injury litigation, eschewing a general practice model in favor of deep specialization. Their Lancaster office is conveniently located on Harrisburg Pike, with wider accessibility through satellite locations should in-person meetings be difficult for clients.
Philosophy & Client Approach
What sets KBG apart, particularly in Lancaster, is its emphasis on treating clients as people not just cases. The attorneys see relationship and trust as foundational to their work. From intake through resolution or trial, they strive to guide clients through the complexity of the legal process with patience, transparency, and responsiveness. Many of their lawyers previously represented insurers, giving them insight into how defense strategies operate a useful advantage in negotiations and litigation.
Practice Areas & Case Types
At their Lancaster office, the firm handles the full spectrum of serious injury and disability claims. Key practice areas include:
Vehicle collisions (cars, trucks, motorcycles)
Premises liability and slip-and-fall cases
Medical malpractice, birth injuries, and other healthcare negligence
Defective product litigation
Wrongful death claims
Workers compensation
Social Security disability
Catastrophic injury claims (e.g. brain, spinal cord, amputation, burn)
They represent drivers, passengers, pedestrians, employees, nursing home residents, and others injured due to negligence or misconduct. In more complex circumstances, the firm brings in or partners with other attorneys when needed to support specialized case handling.
Approach to Case Strategy & Compensation
KBG undertakes thorough investigation, working with medical professionals, accident reconstructionists, and other experts to build strong cases. Their goal is to recover all damages clients deserve, not only for medical bills and lost wages but also for pain and suffering, scarring/disfigurement, loss of consortium, property damage, and in fatal cases, funeral expenses. In instances of egregious misconduct, they may pursue punitive damages. They are prepared to negotiate aggressively but emphasize that cases are only settled when they are fully ready and they are comfortable taking cases to trial where necessary.
Local Standing & Accessibility
Within Lancaster and the broader region, KBG is regarded as a respected advocate. The firm has what it describes as credibility with judges, opposing counsel, and insurers, built through consistent, high-quality advocacy. Their Lancaster office is located at 1776 Harrisburg Pike, and they also serve clients via additional regional offices. For clients unable to travel, the firm accommodates in-home or offsite meetings. They operate on a contingency fee basis, meaning clients do not pay unless they recover compensation.
Why Clients Choose Them
Clients are drawn to KBG in Lancaster for their exclusive focus on injury law, depth of trial experience, local presence, and caring client service. Their attorneys background in insurance defense equips them to anticipate and counter defense tactics. Brian P. Strong
Brian P. Strong, originally from York County, serves as one of our attorneys specializing in personal injury and wrongful death cases. He graduated from Mount Saint Mary's University in 1990 and the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1994. Brian is an active participant in the Pennsylvania, Maryland, and York County Bar Associations. He is authorized to practice law in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and the Federal Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, as well as before the Supreme Court of the United States.

Edward R. Kennett
Ted has spent over thirty years advocating for individuals who have been harmed by others' irresponsible and unsafe actions. After graduating from Temple Law School in 1993, he served as a judicial clerk for Judge Michael A. Georgelis in Lancaster County. Upon completing this clerkship, Ted went on to work with the Lancaster County District Attorney's office. Ted's time at the DA's office involved handling and trying hundreds of cases, which equipped him to effectively advocate for those injured due to someone else's negligence. He now handles a variety of cases, including those related to motor vehicle accidents, trucking accidents, premise liability, insurance bad-faith, products liability, medical negligence, and nursing home abuse.

Dean V. Dominick
Dean had aspirations of becoming a lawyer dating back to his elementary school days, and he achieved this goal upon graduating with a law degree from the Dickinson School of Law. He is of the opinion that individuals injured in workers' compensation cases should be afforded dignity and respect, which is often lacking in their treatment by insurance companies, and this has driven his success.
Dean holds membership in the York County Bar Association, where he has also served as President, and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He is part of the PBA's Section on Workers' Compensation Law and has been a member of the Section's Council, as well as its By-Laws and Certification Committees. Additionally, Dean served a six-year term as a Hearing Committee Member for the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.

Laid Off Or Fired After A Work Injury | KBG Injury Law
If you get injured on the job, there is no guarantee that your employer will keep your job open for you while you recover. What should you do if you are laid off or fired following a work injury? Do you have any alternatives? Yes, you can take action if you believe you were not fired for a legitimate reason.
While Pennsylvania law bars employers from firing employees in retaliation for claiming their workers' compensation benefits, your company can decide to terminate you for other reasons when you are receiving workers' comp. Your company may have to continue to pay workers' comp benefits if you were not fired for a legitimate reason.
Workers fired for no legitimate reason may have a case against their employer for unlawful termination. Consulting with a lawyer who specializes in workers' compensation, like KBG Injury Law, can help you claim the money that should be yours and preserve your job.

They were very helpful from the start. Everything was explained and all my questions were answered. There was not 1 time I was not able to get help when I needed it. They are the best at what they do and I highly recommend them. I am hoping I will not need their services again but if I do I know where to go.

My sister, mother and I were walking through the Sudden, and shocking loss of my father. He was hit by a vehicle while riding his bike. While we were in the midst of this case, my mother became gravely ill with cancer, passing just months ago. Wes Addington of KGB Law worked on our behalf. He was extremely compassionate and gave wise council when difficult decisions lay before us. He stood his ground and fought for us, ultimately winning our case, which was a complicated one at that. Wes consistently addressed us and all parties with the utmost professional and integral demeanor. He and his team were extremely quick to respond to any effort by to communicate and efficiently worked through processes for us. I couldnt recommend this firm more. Our experience was absolutely excellent.

We had the best outcome we thought possible with Mr. Kennett and his team at KBG. Our son had an injury on the job that required ankle surgery and when looking for representation KBG had great reviews. We then spoke with Mr. Kennett and his staff about our case. They made a very complex and uncharted (for us) situation go smoothly.
Thanks again for walking our family through a hard time.

Mr. Ted Kennett took care of my and my moms personal injury cases when we were both rear-ended in our vehicles a few months apart. I received substantially more than expected with my settlement. In my moms case, Mr. Kennett settled for the full amount from both the defendant and my moms insurance companies. He and his staff fought very tough on our behalf for all the settlements. They are punctual, respectful, kind, efficient, patience, and professional. Their explanations to my many unfamiliar, law-related inquiries were thorough and easy-to-understand by a lay person such as myself. Wishing the Law Firm many years of good health and happiness! Thank you so much for everything!

We highly recommend Drew Gannon. He was absolutely wonderful! He guided us through the entire process step by step, and he responded quickly to all of our questions (and there were many). When anxiety was high, Drew was there to reassure us with his calm, friendly demeanor. We couldn't have asked for a better outcome. How we were treated during the entire process was nothing more than amazing! Drew is the best!!

Ted helped me through a difficult time after going through a serious car accident and injury. He provided thoughtful and realistic advice. He and his staff navigated all the difficulties that come with a situation like this (medical bills, insurance matters, questions about the claim, etc.). He cared about my situation, advocated for me with the insurance company, and procured a solid settlement In my case. I was fortunate to have Ted represent me after my car accident. I highly recommend him as a personal injury attorney.
