Trusted Family Law Attorneys in Little Canada, MN
The Divorce For Dads was established in 1989 by partners Mark Nygaard and Mark A. Longe. Our primary area of practice is family law, with a special focus on representing fathers and protecting their rights in custody, parenting time, and child support cases. We are the oldest established father's rights law office in Minnesota, with over fifty-five years of combined experience in family law. Our attorneys have achieved successful results in hundreds of cases across the Twin Cities area and central and southern Minnesota. We advocate for fathers through legal representation, volunteer lobbying at the Minnesota state legislature, and free legal clinics.

Our office is sensitive to the concerns of fathers seeking to maintain strong relationships with their children during and after marital dissolution or separation. We also provide representation in paternity cases and have experience in complex custody and property issues. Our attorneys have argued cases at both trial and appellate levels and are committed to keeping legal costs reasonable by encouraging client involvement in case preparation. We prioritize transparency, client education, and ethical representation.
