Estate Planning
Report
At Hempel & Mudd Law, we can work with you to set up an estate plan that is tailored to you and your family's needs.
We will help you determine what is best for your situation, from a simple Will, to a more elaborate Trust that can protect considerable assets from the burden of Probate and estate taxation.
With proper planning, your estate can be passed on quickly, easily, and subject to significantly reduced taxes while avoiding probate fees.
A well-drafted, comprehensive estate plan takes into consideration the possibility of future incapacity.
Elder Law
Report
Elder law involves a wide range of issues, from Estate Planning, Asset Preservation and Conservatorships, to the procurement of government benefits, housing, and care-giving options.
Our goal is to guide elderly clients and their families through the legal issues and possible financial problems that come with growing older, and to preserve personal and financial independence for as long as possible.
We can also show seniors a variety of ways to qualify for long-term care assistance from Medi-Cal, without spending down all of their assets.
