Camp Fire Legal Resources & General Info
Report
In an effort to respond adequately to questions we have received from clients and friends, Latimer and Kenkel has teamed up with the law firm of Walkup, Melodia, Kelly & Schoenberger.
Firm partner Mike Kelly is co-lead counsel on the Napa Sonoma fires as well as Dennis Latimer's cousin.
Mike's firm is one of the best personal injury firms in the United States as is evidenced by their track record at trial and in negotiations.
Their website is: Walkuplawoffice.com.
The Walkup firm and Latimer & Kenkel do not charge high contingency fees because we do not believe that would be fair to people affected by the fire.

Wild Fire Assistance Program
Report
The Wildfire Assistance Program (WAP) is now accepting applications.
The program offers two funding tiers for wildfire victims with urgent needs, including those without adequate shelter.
Claims for those who can establish basic eligibility requirements and self-certify that they have at least $5,000 of unmet needs that have not been compensated by FEMA will be prioritized.
Payments are to support needs such as water, food, prescriptions, medical supplies and equipment, infant formula and diapers, personal hygiene items, and transportation fuels beyond what FEMA covered in the days immediately following the disaster.
